A coupon for FREE Registry membership and renewal is now available through funding provided by the Department of Children and Families through the Preschool Development Grant (PDG).
All individuals, who are currently employed at a regulated child care program in Wisconsin AND have their current employer listed on their Registry Profile, are eligible to use the coupon.
The coupon will be available only as funding allows. The Registry will also send future communications regarding the amount of funding available. Track the amount of funding remaining on this page.
Please take your time submitting your membership application by considering and listing your complete education and employment history as it relates to the early childhood care and afterschool profession.

Using the Coupon Code
Follow the steps below and use the coupon code PDG2023.
Step #1: Logging In
Log in to your Registry account to get started.

Step #2: Start your membership application
You will need to enter information about your education history, employment history (see Step 3 below), professional memberships, and review your training history.

Step #3: Reviewing Your Employment:
Be sure to review your employment history and make sure your current employer is accurately listed. This will determine if you are eligible to use the coupon.
Helpful Tip: To check if your current employer is a regulated child care program, click on the information icon next to the name of your employer. If a license number is listed, your employer is a regulated child care program and you are eligible to use this coupon code.
Step #4: Apply the coupon code:
After you submit your Registry Membership Application, enter the coupon code PDG2023. The coupon covers the entire cost of Registry membership / membership renewal.
Helpful Tip: When you click the Apply button, your browser may ask you to leave this page. Click Leave to apply this coupon code.
Step #5: Send documentation:
After you submit your application, the list of documentation you should send to the Wisconsin Registry will be shown. If you do not plan to send documentation to The Registry, click the black I have no documentation to submit button.

Q1. What do I do if the coupon code doesn't work?
After you submit your membership application, you will apply the coupon code. Once you apply the coupon code, make sure the application fee amount is $0. If you experience difficulty applying the coupon code, log out and log back in to your Registry account. You can then apply the PDG2023 coupon on your Profile Summary page.
If you do not work at a regulated child care program, you are not eligible to use the PDG2023 coupon code. If you do currently work at a regulated child care program but did not list this on the employment history section of your membership application, the PDG2023 coupon code will not work and you will need to contact The Registry for assistance.
Q2. Does the coupon code cover the cost of adding a Trainer and/or Technical Assistance Professional endorsement?
No, the coupon code only covers the cost of a Registry membership. The cost of any additional endorsements must be paid separately. Contact the Wisconsin Registry if an endorsement was added in error.
Q3. I just submitted and paid for Registry membership/renewal. Can I get a refund and use the PDG2023 coupon?
In lieu of a refund, the Wisconsin Registry can cancel your application submission, which will generate a coupon code to use within the next 12 months. You will need to reapply and use the PDG2023 coupon code. Please contact The Registry if you would like to cancel your application submission.
Please Note: The Wisconsin Registry processes applications in date order. By canceling your application submission and reapplying, your application processing time will be affected.
